HP G62-320 A wifi doesn't work?

my hp g62-320 a wifi doesn't, it was working fine when i bought it, but now when i connect it to the default network, it connects, but doesn't have internet connection, when i mouse over the pop up thingy it says "Not connected -- Connections are available". But it doesn't have internet connection,and when i troubleshoot it, it says "You have no preferred wireless networks" and "Problem with wireless adopter or access point". The hp wireless assistant is always on. A few weeks ago it worked when the HP support assistant was updating. so how do you fix this? detailed answers please.
