Having trouble with wireless printer?

I cant get my Brother MFC-6890CDW to connect the wireless internet. When I try to connect it I go to startup wizard and choose my router. I then choose what type of password it has (WPA-PSK). It then asks me what type of encryption it has. I can choose from either TKIP or AES. I have tried both but when i put in my password it says that the connection has failed. What should I do? Should i remove the password from the router?
