Problems with Samsung cellphone Code or wireless provider?

I recently started experiencing problems with my smartphone, the Samsung Code. Originally I was not getting my emails in a prompt time frame (1-2 days late), unable to text, and unable to access the internet. My wireless provider, METRO PCS, was not much help. I now am getting my e-mail and able to access the internet. However, I am still unable to text. Something else I just noticed is that my phone will not ring or vibrate but will still receive calls as the incoming call indicator light will flash.
