Do i have mono? doctors please answer?

Im 13 and i was feeling really week and tired and my face was pale and i had a sore throght so i went to the emergency room. I had a 99.5 fever but that was after taking advil. I had a hugh pulse rate and my glands were swollen. the doctor looked at me and said i had strep and i was dehydrated without even doing any test. i drank a lot and took medicene but it doesnt seem to be getting better. i havnt been hungry but im forcing my self to eat and i havnt felt like moving. do you think i have mono.
